Parks Appreciation Day

Love your local park!? Participants are needed in parks throughout Tacoma to spruce up local parks by trimming limbs, grooming grounds and maintaining restoration areas. Each person counts! Come together to lend a hand to keep parks beautiful, our community strong and connected, and be a good steward of the earth.

What to bring

  • Gloves are required – however, if you don’t own a pair we can provide them.

  • Bring your own water and snacks.

What to wear

  • Sturdy, closed-toe shoes or boots, long pants and long sleeves.

  • Dress for the weather.
