Celebrate Earth Day with Thurston County and the City of Lacey at a fun, family-friendly event focused on recycling and waste reduction!

Enjoy interactive activities, including LeMay’s Touch-a-Truck and Intercity Transit’s Touch-a-Bus experiences, where kids and adults alike can climb aboard and learn how these vehicles help keep our community clean and green. Plant native wildflowers to take home , make your own non-toxic household cleaner, and play games that teach you how to keep our streets and shorelines free of litter.

Attendees can also drop off one grocery bag filled with plastic film for Ridwell to recycle! This event is in collaboration with The City of Lacey, Intercity Transit, Thurston County Master Recycler Composters, Pacific Shellfish Institute, Timberland Regional Library, Ridwell, and LeMay Pacific Disposal.

This event is hosted by Thurston County Solid Waste.
