Participants are needed to spruce up local parks by trimming limbs, grooming grounds, combing beaches and maintaining restoration areas.  Each person counts! All coming together to lend a hand to keep parks beautiful, our community strong and connected, and being a good steward of the earth.

Metro Parks Tacoma sites are listed below. Pre-register for event below. 

Volunteer Events – COVID-19 Safety Guidelines:

• Smaller group sizes will be enforced. Group size is based on current Health Dept guidance and will vary depending on what Phase the county is in. If you are bringing a household/family member, you both count this as one volunteer.

• Pre-registration is required for all events

• COVID-19 Safety videos – after you have pre-registered for the event. In the profile drop-down, click on trainings and watch the safety videos.

• Face coverings are required

• Gloves are required – however, if you don’t own a pair we can provide them.

• Social-distancing during the event. Stay 6-feet away from other volunteers who are not living in your household.

• Bring your own water and snacks.

• DAY OF EVENT – Before you leave your house, be sure to do a self-health assessment
