UPS’s Sustainability Services brings you the Virtual Earth Day Student Summit to connect Tacoma university students with local Tacoma environmental organizations that are fighting for the environment as well as the communities most affected by climate change. Earth Day should not be celebrated once a year and climate change does not just affect the Earth. Students from UPS, PLU, UWT, TCC, and other universities will have a chance to talk with members from a variety of organizations focused on things such as restoration, mutual aid, transportation, environmental policy, and more and get to discuss ways they can get involved. This will be followed by a student space to discuss what we can and have been doing on our campuses to combat climate change and center our students most impacted by it.
