To celebrate Native Plant Appreciation Month, we will lead three groups of 3rd to 6th graders (limit of 5 children + 5 chaperones per group) to match native and invasive plants in the Heritage Garden with flash cards provided to each child. We will describe tips on recognizing plants in the 2-acre garden, discuss how Native Americans used the plants and advise how to access web sites for more information.
